This involved the complete removal of the existing floorboards, strengthening of the original joists to remove 'bounce' and levelling, re-wire & re-plumb underneath, installation of rigid insulation, wet underfloor heating system with app controllable thermostat, and finished with the fitting of an oak herringbone engineered floor.
